SEASON 2A Update: I've watched a lot of shows. She-Ra, Amphibia, Infinity Train, Steven Universe, MLP:FiM, etc... I've never seen a show consistently have great episodes like what I saw in the 10 episodes of Season 2A. Yeah there were characters that didn't get as much screentime as Season 1, but WOW! I went into every episode thinking "Man, they really did something amazing last ep, how are they going to match that?" THEN THEY DID! This absolutely jumped this series up on my recommendation list, and I can't wait to see what they have in store.

April 26th 2022 Update: We're 16 episodes into the second season, they've been pitching a perfect game so far. What I said above still stands, and they've kept it going through the first 6 episodes of the second half. The reveals, the writing, even just the setting alone has my complete attention. This show truly is something amazing, and I really hope more people give it a shot and see what it has to offer. Some people have compared it to Gravity Falls, and while I don't disagree with that I think this show might have more to offer than GF. GF was amazing and I love it dearly, but it almost feels like The Owl House is willing to take it's characters to much darker, more interesting places. And not just like physically put them in thematically darker environments and settings, but the characters themselves and their mindsets are getting put there. It's hard to describe, just watch the show. I can't wait to see what the next few episodes have in store!
